Delete your Aldus account
From the app
- Open Aldus, then Settings › My account.
- Tap “Delete my account” at the bottom of the page.
- Export your books if you want to, then confirm.
Without the app
Email privacy@aldusbooks.com from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Account deletion”.
What is deleted
- Your library: books, editions, copies
- Your places, loans, notes and quotes
- Your cover photos
- Your sign-in credentials
What is kept, and for how long
- Nothing from your library or your account: deletion is immediate and permanent.
- Technical error logs, detached from your account.
- Shared catalog records (a book’s title, authors, publisher), which are not personal data.
Aldus Pro stays linked to your Apple or Google account: it can be restored if you come back.
